"Snowball" Launching Catapults
Students explored the concept of maximizing stored energy as they designed working catapults. Students could use up to two rubber bands. Our challenge was to see how far back you could move a set sized wall and launch a white pom pom "snowball" over the wall. Was such an amazing challenge. Every group successfully cleared a distance of the wall being set 20 inches back. Loved the positivity and support they gave each other throughout. Lots of collaboration. Couldn't be prouder.
